Spoiler alert: The following contains details from the finale of "The Bachelor" Season 28.
Bachelor nation is gushing over the touching friendship moment at the center of "The Bachelor" Season 28's finale drama. But it wasn't the first time the show's runner-up was looking after her new best friend as she faced heartbreak.
Promos for the final episode of Joey Graziadei's Bachelor journey promised it would be the most dramatic yet, and for once, they might have been telling the truth.
Viewers collectively picked their jaws up off the ground when contestants Daisy Kent and Kelsey Anderson appeared in the car together on their way to meet Joey on proposal day in Tulum, where Daisy would self-eliminate.
Kelsey went on to enthusiastically accept Joey's proposal and final rose, but it was her final moments with Daisy that has captured the internet's heart.

Social media reacts to Daisy and Kelsey's emotional friendship
Daisy said she had grown a deep friendship with Kelsey throughout the season, but started to realize Kelsey and Joey had a stronger connection at the last rose ceremony.
Following the pit in her stomach, she went to visit Kelsey on the day of the proposal to see if Kelsey had the assurance Daisy lacked.
While viewers were waiting to see who would step out of the car first, a classic sign for who get's broken up with at the last moment, the show delivered a shock showing the women riding in the car together.
"THE GASP I GUSPT," wrote another person on X.
Daisy then walked down to the beach, told Joey she knew she wasn't his person, and marched back to the car with her head held high.
"I knew it was two people I really cared about, two people who really loved each other," Daisy said in the interviews after the final rose. "It was the best thing for all of us, and I know that now."
In her final embrace with Kelsey in Tulum, she evoked Kelsey's mother who died, prompting Kelsey (and fans) to well up with tears.
"I know your mom's going to be looking down on this moment,' Daisy said. "She's going to be so happy and so proud of you, okay?"
Season 27's Gabi also knew she wasn't the one on proposal day
Daisy may have been the first to ride with the winner to her proposal, but she wasn't the first to know she was about to get heart broken.
In the finale of Season 27, Gabriella Elnicki and Kaity Biggar were the final two women hoping for Zach Shallcross's final rose, and also had become good friends through the season.
Gabi stepped out of the car first, tipping off Bachelor nation that she wouldn't be getting proposed to on the beach.
"Oh (expletive) no, that's a really muddy spot, y'all shouldn't pull in right there," she said stepping out of the car. "When it actually matters, when Kaity arrives, don't do that to her."
Gabi posted about Monday's finale on her Instagram story, commenting about mats they placed in front of the car doors for Kelsey and Gabi. "The mats outside of the car are a nice touch. I feel I have made a difference now," she wrote. "I also feel I may be entitled to compensation for this one."
Kaity and Zach got engaged and are still together according to her Instagram, and the two appeared at the "Golden Wedding" together.
